I’m a published writer, born in San Francisco, California to immigrant parents.
I also write about growing up in the Armenian culture, part of the Bay Area Armenian Diaspora.
I love language. I have my B.A. from U.C. Berkeley in English Literature and M.F.A. in Creative Non-Fiction from Saint Mary’s College of California where I won the Dean’s Award for Excellence.
I’ve also been awarded residencies at VONA/Voices and Vermont Studio Center.
I teach creative writing in East Bay elementary schools and to adult students in Berkeley. I’d love to work with you!
