What is memoir? I often begin a new session asking this question. We often decide what it’s not. Not a journal. Not a Biography. But what is memoir and how do you write it? What’s the story that’s in you that you’ve been wanting to tell? Write down the scenes that come to mind when you think of that story, that time, that year. You’ve just begun.
